OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Michael Martens was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Riedel Networks in May 2012. Prior to joining Riedel Networks, Mr. Martens spent 5 years in the management of Colt Technology Services, responsible for the wholesale and mid-market business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. Prior to that, Michael Martens was a member of the management team at Verizon Business Germany, responsible for sales to resellers, system integrators, carriers and service providers. Michael Martens began his career in 1984 at Deutsche Telekom as a telecommunications craftsman, is a telecommunications specialist and studied business information systems at the AKAD Institute.

Thomas Bender joined Riedel Networks on July 1, 2022. He started as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and took over the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO) in June’23. Previously, Thomas Bender was a member of the senior management team and authorized signatory at BT Germany and held senior positions such as Head of Telco Procurement DACH & Nordics. At Riedel Networks, he is the COO responsible for Accounting, Purchasing (Bid Management, Carrier & Supplier Relations), Project Management and our Warehouse. Thomas Bender is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) and has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of purchasing and procurement strategies.

Bernhard Pussel is Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Deputy CEO of Riedel Networks and has been responsible for all Riedel Networks sales since October 2017. Prior to joining Riedel, Mr. Pussel held senior positions in international telecommunications companies such as Truphone and Colt Technology Services. Bernhard Pussel began his career in sales as an account manager at IBM and his first position in sales management at Digital Equipment as head of the OEM business unit. Mr. Pussel studied electrical engineering and communications engineering at the Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education.

Timo Siebel has been Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Riedel Networks since October 01, 2021, with responsibility for Network & Security Operations and Network Development. He brings over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry. Most recently, Timo Siebel was responsible for the rollout and operation of a Cisco-based SD-WAN for a global automotive manufacturer at BT. He began his career in telecommunications as a network engineer at DuPont. At Viag Interkom, Mr. Siebel built up and subsequently headed the Customer Support division; at BT, he was COO Programme Director and responsible for Service Delivery in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe.

Timo Koch has been Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the Media Division of Riedel Networks since May 2023. Here he will oversee the company’s commercial and business development in the media and entertainment sector and report to the CEO, Michael Martens. Timo Koch will expand the existing connectivity business to broadcast and live events, while leveraging the Group’s data center potential for new media activities. For this purpose, he draws on his many years of experience in the field of outside broadcasting and production facilities.
